Authentication

When adding connector instances for Paddle, the following authentication methods are supported:

• Bearer token

Bearer token authentication

Authentication is performed by including your API key in the Authorization header as a Bearer token. When a user chooses to add a connector instance using bearer token authentication, the credentials below are prompted:

Credential	Required?	Notes
base url	true	Paddle provides different base URLs depending on the environment you're working on (sandbox or production). Enter the URL that you use without the https:// element - for example: sandbox-api.paddle.com or api.paddle.com. More information is available in Paddle's developer documentation.
token	true	Enter your API key for the required Production or Sandbox environment. API keys are generated from your Paddle dashboard. More information is available in Paddle's developer documentation.
