Description

Pimcore is an open-source platform that centralises and manages product data, digital assets, and content to help businesses deliver unified omnichannel experiences. It combines PIM, DAM, CMS, and e-commerce capabilities into one flexible system.

Authentication

When adding connector instances for the Pimcore REST API, the following authentication methods are supported:

• Pimcore token

Pimcore token

Authentication is handled via API tokens, which are included in the Authorization header of API requests. When a user chooses to add a connector instance using API-token authentication, the credentials below are prompted:

Credential	Required?	Notes
url	true	The domain that you use to access Pimcore, without the https:// element.
token	true	Your Pimcore API key. API keys are generated and managed within the Pimcore backend.
