Introduction

To authenticate Shopify connectors using tokens, a Shopify custom app is required to grant Patchworks' access.

From 1st January 2026, Shopify custom apps were discontinued. If you have an existing custom app for Patchworks access, you can continue to use the associated credentials for token authentication

Otherwise, you must install the Patchworks app from the Shopify marketplace. This creates a connector and adds an authenticated connector instance seamlessly.
